Week 9. Some great ideas gleaned from PD and FB

A little reminder for programming.
When programming for writing look at the Overview of Genres' Structures and Features hand out that is in your Curriculum File.
There is a box for each genre that is headed Language features.  These should be the content of your guided writing - 'Formal English' sessions.  This information will support the child in the writing of this genre. Students should also be familiar with 'language' of the Purpose, Variations and Structural Features of the Genre.
